Quality Standards

Bayernwald's ultimate goal and duty is to ensure the quality and safety of all products within the scope of economic and technical possibilities, as well as by well thought through processes. Based on this responsibility, programs (HACCP, FDP Food Defense Program, PRP Preventive Programs) and measures have been established to ensure a high level of quality and safety of all products at all times. The compliance with legal regulations and the guidelines of the Codex Alimentarius as well as self-defined company guidelines regarding quality, environment and ethics ensure quality, hygiene and food safety and belong to the company’s self-unterstanding.

The standards include:

  • Orientation to international guidelines for the production of fruit juice like European Directive 2012/12/EU for fruit juices and Regulation (EC) no. 396/2005 regarding residues
  • Continuous screening of current legal changes
  • Internal quality management system to cover essential requirements such as traceability and crisis management
  • Certifications according to quality management systems ISO 9001-2015
  • Certification for food safety management FSSC 22000
  • Certification for energy management ISO 50001
  • Certification for the processing of organic products according to EC 834/2007 + 889/2008 European framework regulation
  • Kosher Certificate
